Please note that ALL Director candidates must meet the following criteria:
• Must have and maintain at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA and be in good standing with the university
• Must be a Junior during the 2007-2008 academic year
• Must be able to commit to the FrogHouse project through May 2008.
• Be able to attend the entire opening training session on April 15, 2007.
 

In addition, ALL Directors will have the following responsibilities:
• Attend committee meetings as scheduled and as requested
• Work collaboratively with TCU staff advisors, other FrogHouse student leaders, and Habitat representatives
• Organize team members and report progress back to FrogHouse staff on a weekly basis
• Attend ALL necessary trainings, promotional efforts, and fundraising sessions as scheduled
• Select, train, and supervise assigned student project managers in your area
• Assisting all other Directors based on need in the calendar year

Fundraising Director – Class of 2009
• Responsible for developing and executing a fund-raising strategy
• Solicits corporate sponsors and donations
• Coordinates all fundraising events
• Follow fundraising policies set forth by University Advancement
• Share leadership and management duties with Director of Marketing and Director of Building and Recruitment
• Serve as a spokesperson at all FrogHouse events

• Write all press releases for campus and local media and seek proper approval for all marketing materials
• Responsible for arranging all necessary logistics at the event site and plan any side events or pre-event activities
• Share leadership and management duties with the Director of Fundraising
• Serve as a spokesperson at all FrogHouse events
• Work with all Project Managers to schedule, utilize and secure “Mini House” for all scheduled marketing and recruitment efforts
• Meet on a regular basis with the Director Board to share information regarding the Marketing team and to work toward creating unity among the FrogHouse leader team
• Assist in the recruitment, application, and interviewing process for the Class of 2010 FrogHouse project
• Other duties as assigned

Recruitment & Building Director – Class of 2009
• Coordinate individuals, teams, and project managers for each day of the build
• Holds recruitment project managers/day site managers accountable for coordinating of volunteers
• Oversee volunteer recruitment.
• Establish the build schedule with the Trinity Habitat Chapter and distribute to all day site managers/volunteers as necessary
• Oversee and update the master volunteer schedule and database for each build day
• Serve as a spokesperson at all FrogHouse events
• Assist in planning and delivering the FrogHouse Dedication for 2008
• Works closely with Director of Marketing to ensure recruitment is done in an orderly fashion
• Assist the Director of Fundraising to ensuring food donations are met
• Creates an effective way for the TCU community to register to help build
• Works closely with Director board to create team building activities/events
• Meet on a regular basis with the Director Board to share information regarding the Recruitment and Building team and to work toward creating unity among the FrogHouse leader team
• Assist in the recruitment, application, and interviewing process for the Class of 2010 FrogHouse project

Project Manager-Parent Giving
This person will determine potential parent donors and take the lead in asking for donations. Donations can either be monetary or in-kind. In-kind donations are building supply and material gifts (i.e. all the lumber needed for the build). Team members will learn the proper way to identify donors and ask for contributions by attending a training session during the summer at a date to be announced.

Project Manager-Corporate Giving

Project Manager-Foundation Giving 
This person will ask approved foundations for donations. Donations can either be monetary or in-kind. In-kind donations are building supply and material gifts (i.e. all the lumber needed for the build). Team members will learn the proper way to identify donors and ask for contributions by attending a training session during the summer at a date to be announced.

Project Manager-Student and Student Organization Giving 
This person will ask students and student organizations for financial donations and initiate a philanthropic campaign for FrogHouse among student leaders. Team members will learn the proper way to identify donors and ask for contributions by attending a training session during the summer at a date to be announced.

Project Manager-Purple & Jeans Day 
This project provides TCU faculty and staff the opportunity to contribute to Habitat by donating money for the right to wear jeans and purple to work one day. Members of this project will need to work with the Chancellor’s Office to set a date, market the program to the TCU community, order updated stickers or buttons for participants to wear, and solicit donations from the campus community. Team members will learn the proper way to identify donors and ask for contributions by attending a training session during the summer at a date to be announced.

Recruitment & Building Project Managers: All report to the Recruitment & Building Director

Project Manager-Recruitment/Day Site (RDS)
These positions will be responsible for the recruitment of volunteers for the Habitat build and for serving as a Day Site host for 1 day of the actual build. Volunteers will be recruited from the TCU student body, faculty, and staff, as well as TCU alumni. These positions will work with TCU staff from the Alumni Relations as well as other faculty and staff across campus on recruitment activities. Each Project Manager-RDS will be responsible for filling and supervising at least 40 volunteer positions for their assigned day of the build. This includes being responsible for making sure all volunteers are aware of their shifts and job responsibilities while on site. They will also collect consent forms and ensure proper safety of participants on the build site.

Project Manager-Retention/Day Site (RDS):
This position will be responsible for planning, securing items and implementing FrogHouse incentive and recognition program for all volunteers. The Retention Project Manager will be responsible for logging hours of volunteers and making sure all are recognized for their time. The purpose of the incentive program will be to challenge volunteers to reach goals and maintain morale. This person will also serve as an alternate Day Site host if needed.

Project Manager-Marketing
These positions will be responsible for creating and carrying out marketing campaigns to make the campus and community aware of FrogHouse. Project Managers will also: create, distribute and follow a marketing timeline for all FrogHouse projects; collaborate with the Office of Communications to develop a media marketing plan; assist with marketing needs for the Fundraising and Recruitment volunteers; assist in developing and carrying out a plan for the usage of MiniHouse in Marketing and Fundraising campaigns; coordinate signage and needed publications for FrogHouse throughout the 2007-2008 build.
